There are a few difference between Spirit and Genesis grills:

  1. Size: The Weber Genesis is generally larger than the Weber Spirit. The Genesis models come in three or four burners and are usually wider and deeper than the Spirit models.

  2. Cooking Grates: The Weber Genesis comes with stainless steel cooking grates, while the Weber Spirit has porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grates. Stainless steel grates are generally more durable than cast iron grates and may be easier to clean.

  3. Burners: The Weber Genesis has higher quality burners compared to the Weber Spirit, which are made of stainless steel and have higher BTU output.

  4. Ignition System: The Weber Genesis comes with an electronic ignition system, while the Weber Spirit has a push-button ignition.
